Shaker Study Group member John Keith Russell has partnered with Thomas Queen and Bray & Co. Auctions, Portsmouth, NH, to curate The Shaker Sale, an inaugural auction devoted exclusively to Shaker furniture, woodenware, manuscripts, and related material drawn from estates and private collections. The auction will take place on August 15, and Bray & Co. will offer open hours in the weeks leading up to the sale (dates/times TBD). This exciting new venture offers both seasoned collectors and new Shaker enthusiasts the rare opportunity to acquire thoughtfully curated works exemplifying the enduring beauty of Shaker design.
